We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Production Associate for our Baton Rouge facility.
- The Production Associate ensures smooth manufacturing processes by operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and maintaining safety standards.
- Schedule is: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Read and follow Bills of Materials and follow hands-on instruction to construct various product assemblies.
- Use of Power Tools (drills/grinders/saws/rivet and spray guns) and Hand Tools (sanders/saws/vises/hammer/cutters).
- Responsible to check and verify pats prior to assembly and conduct quality checks and measurements.
- Previous welding (tig/mig/carbon/stainless) a plus.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner, support all safety and environmental rules and initiatives.
- Participate in company-wide initiatives to provide continuous improvement of processes and products
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reading, writing, comprehension and understanding of measurements.
- Heavy lifting (up to 50lb), climbing, bending, standing long periods.
- Wearing PPE (gloves, steel toe shoes, respirators, other dependent on tasks).
- Visual and listening acuity, retention of instructions.
