Virtual Construction:
We are looking to fill the position of Virtual Construction Engineer working with Trimble RTS and Scanning in our VC department. Individuals must be able to multi-task and work with several managers at once. Work will be in an office setting and on active jobsites with the team you will be supporting immediately available. This position reports to and takes daily direction from the VC Manager.
Individual is responsible for VC support as it pertains to the following duties:
- Learn to use Scanning and RTS Equipment
- Assist in maintaining and checking out equipment to field users
- Complete laser scans on projects
- Process, Upload and Align laser scans for detailing and field use
- Visit jobsites to work with general contractor and Murphy foreman to establish control points onsite for RTS use
- Input control points into Revit model and export to RTS for field layout
- Coordinate receiving RTS point files from detailing team and uploading to RTS tablets for field layout
- Train and support field users in RTS layout both remotely and by visiting active jobsites

Dependable and responsible individual who can take direction and require minimal supervision; a self-starter that will take initiative to seek out additional work when needed and follow-up with projects, seeing them through to completion. Must be flexible, detail-oriented, and able to multi-
task, maintain confidentiality, and have strong organizational skills. Individual should demonstrate the ability to create and maintain Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must want to grow their
construction knowledge by learning current construction technology with hands-on experience from mentors.
