Desktop Support Technician
Location: 10 Sylvan Way, Parsippany, NJ 07054
Pay Rate: $26/HR W2 (Increase to $28/HR upon hire)
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Description:
· Work independently following detailed steps and be able to document troubleshooting steps taken and maintain daily ticket status
· Break-Fix support, changing system boards, hdds, laptop LCDs etc.
· Troubleshooting hardware and software
· IMAC – Receiving equipment, unboxing and deploying (set up, breakdown)
· Responsible to ship and track equipment to remote users and track returns documenting everything in the ticket
Skills:
● 4 years of professional IT experience in an enterprise environment
● A certification
● All work comes from Service Now ticketing system, must have familiarity/experience
● Must be detailed and process oriented, able to work independently following detailed steps and be able to document troubleshooting steps taken and maintain daily ticket status
● Excellent customer service
