Location: Bright Futures Daycare and Preschool
Position: Part-Time 24-28 hours/week; flexibility in hours may be necessary
Salary Range: $11-$13 per hour
Travel: Some local travel may be required

Muskegon Rescue Mission is looking for a Daycare and Preschool Aide to join our early childhood team. Candidates should be passionate about leading children to the Lord and providing them with experiences that help them gain skills to succeed in life. In this position you would assist in implementing educational faith-based lessons and activities that incorporate social, emotional and developmental learning. It is essential to maintain a clean, safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all at the center.

Responsible For:
- Sharing your faith in Jesus Christ and praying with families, volunteers, coworkers and children as opportunities arise.
- Providing physical, emotional and spiritual care for children, including correction and instruction.
- Implementing Christian-centered, research based curriculum and activities for children newborn through age 12.
- Record information through assessments and observations of children
Engage children and encourage learning through play Notify the director about potential issues and concerns
Ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of all assigned facilities and equipment
- Serve planned meals and snacks to children
- Any other tasks assigned
Requirements:
- Be at least 17 years of age
- Must be able to pass drug screen, background check and fingerprinting
- First Aid/ CPR certification current or can obtain within 90 days of hire
- Up to date TB vaccination within the last 12 months

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
