- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required.
- 7 years of project management experience. Experience managing large- scale software implementation projects. Experience managing multiple projects or programs, Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
- Experience documenting technical and business requirement specifications.
- Ability to act as the primary Project Manager for the Transparency Tool project. Works with the PMO Manager to determine and distribute assignments.
- Possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
- Understands complex web-based computer applications and has the ability to guide programming staff through projects.
- Ability to document business and technical requirements and processes that can be understood and used by other technical staff.
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assignments.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to self-learn/learn tools of trade and adapt to different environments with little or no guidance.
- Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate ability to successfully translate business language into technical specifications and present them to non-technical staff using terminology they can understand and relate to.
- Office Tools - Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word, working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
- Excellent at time management, estimating level of effort, and meeting or exceeding deadlines.
- Team Player - Willing and able to mentor other technical staff and share knowledge.
