Now Hiring: Experienced Steel Erectors for Growing Construction Company

We specialize in steel construction, metal buildings, insulated metal panels, standing seam roofs, miscellaneous metals and more. With continued growth and new projects in both Southern and Northern California, we’re looking for experienced steel erectors to join our team. If you have hands-on field experience with steel construction, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Steel Erection: You’ll be responsible for erecting structural steel and installing components like metal panels, standing seam roofs, skylights, and metal trim across various building projects.
• Diverse Projects: From industrial warehouses to commercial buildings, you’ll work on a variety of construction sites, each requiring different steel and metal components.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Work alongside foremen and other crew members to complete projects safely and on time, following plans and technical specifications.
• Framing & Miscellaneous Metals: While steel erection is a big part of the job, you will also assist in framing for windows and doors, as well as installing miscellaneous metal components such as handrails and trim.
• Safety & Organization: Adhere to strict safety standards on every job site, ensuring both yourself and your team are protected. Maintain a clean, organized work area at all times.
• Tools & Equipment Operation: You’ll operate various equipment, including forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts and hand tools, to safely complete the tasks required for each project.

What We’re Looking For:

• Field Experience: You have hands-on experience in steel erection, ideally with pre-engineered metal buildings, insulated metal panels, and other metal components.
• Physical Stamina: The work is physically demanding, involving tasks like heavy lifting, working at heights, and enduring challenging weather conditions. You’re equipped to handle the physical demands of the role
• Safety-Minded & Reliable: You follow safety protocols and keep your work area organized. You also take pride in showing up on time and getting the job done right.
• Team Player: You collaborate well with others, follow instructions, and communicate clearly with your crew to ensure smooth project completion.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3 years of experience in steel erection, with a focus on pre-engineered metal buildings, structural steel, or similar systems.
• Experience with insulated metal panels, standing seam roofs, and other metal construction systems is preferred.
• Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean record for accessing public and federal works sites.
• Availability to work in Northern and Southern California.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
