What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at My Assembly Solutions?
Requirements:
- Order picking & packaging product for shipping
- Utilized pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Stack and pile finished goods into containers.
- Pack them following a specific set of instructions.
- Clean and prepare containers for packing.
- Verify if items pulled out of package are correct.
- Maintain database of packages.
- Fill out forms and papers to record measurement, weight, and product count.
- Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
Qualifications:
- Essential Skills, Education & Experience:
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- 1-3 years shipping experience both domestic and international.
- Ability to perform math functions associated with the job such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Able to work independently or as part of a team with limited supervision.
- Experience driving a reach truck is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
