The Parenting Love and Limits (PLL) program in Westchester County is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Therapist fluent in English and Spanish. This role involves providing clinical services through group and individual sessions to address family challenges, assist in goal achievement, and support the safety and well-being of children and families. The PLL Therapist collaborates with colleagues to deliver effective clinical services to families in their homes and communities
Responsibilities of the Parenting with Love and Limits Bilingual Therapist include:
- Complete intake screenings of new referrals in accordance with agency and PLL standards.
- Conduct pre- and post-assessments according to agency and PLL standards.
- Facilitate PLL groups in conjunction with the PLL case manager.
- Provide clinical intervention services to families in accordance with the PLL model.
- Offer support and guidance to families to achieve service plan and treatment plan goals.
- Link families to community resources to ensure needed services are in place and received.
- Provide services to families at times convenient to them, including evenings and weekends.
- Complete PLL model adherence and fidelity measures.
- Collaborate with the Department of Social Services on family needs and services being provided.
- Work as part of the treatment team to connect families with service providers to achieve sustainable goals.
- Provide on-call support during non-traditional hours for crisis management, intervention, and de-escalation when needed.
- Prepare and submit required documentation to demonstrate the services and treatment provided.
Qualifications to be a successful Therapist:
- Required Master’s degree in social work, counseling or a related area
- Two years related experience in Therapy and/or training preferred
- Experience with troubled and/or delinquent adolescents preferred
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle and willingness to travel throughout Westchester County, Orange County and other locations as required to fulfill job responsibilities
- Experience in child welfare preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) required

Salary: up to $62,000.00 / per year
Salary for Bilingual Therapists: Up to $64,000.00 / per year
