What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher position at Nami?
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
- Help with bussing tables and resetting them for the next customer
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Skills:
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication skills to effectively work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus
- Culinary training or education is a bonus
