Store Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Responsible for achieving Sales Quota and Gross Profit margins.
• Responsible for all day to day Operations.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements, specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provides a high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock.
• Notifies the shop and or the retail customer when special ordered parts have been received.
• Pulls orders for delivery to shops, making sure all parts are pulled correctly and quantities are correct.
• Follows up on back-ordered parts.
• Replenishes inventory daily.
• Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
• Ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
• Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Keeps orderly records of all invoices and special-order parts.
• Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up.
• Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and clutter free.
• Cleans computer terminals and printers daily.
• Maintains professional appearance.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
