We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of baked goods for restaurant guests to enjoy.

You are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences through good, quality food. With previous experience as a chef, you are able to manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. Ideally, you have your ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification. 

Responsibilities:  

• Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen, working together with the other chefs
• Prepare a variety of baked goods
• Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
• Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
• Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
• Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred 
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
• Effective communication skills 
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
