Job Summary
Current Instructional Support Assistants will be paid their current rate and external will be paid the sub rate of $17.28 per hour. Adult Education- Napa Junction in American Canyon 2.5 hrs per day on Tue./Wed. 6-8:30 pm Ends 5/21/2025 Adult Education- St. Helena High School in St. Helena 2.5 hrs per day on Mon./Thu. 6-8:30 pm Ends 5/22/2025
Requirements / Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Upon interview selection, candidate requirements are as follows: Fingerprints, Verification of freedom of Tuberculosis, Verification of Covid-19 Vaccine, and I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification. A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. Exceptions to taking the test are: Possession of a current California Teaching Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, at least 48 units, or passing the CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test). If you do not meet any of these requirements or have not already taken the test you must do so prior to being employed.
