What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nashua Technology Center (NTC) Office Manager position at Nashua School District?
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting or business/administrative services.
- 2-5 years of experience in grant management, including identifying, writing, submitting, and reporting on educational grants.
- Associates degree in accounting/finance/business-related area preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required.
- Proven experience managing office operations, ideally in an educational or non-profit setting.
- Strong background in budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance, particularly in relation to grant funding.
- Writes, processes, and tracks expenditures for the Perkins Grant ensuring accurate documentation, monitoring budget allocations, and maintaining required detailed financial records. Provide support in ensuring grant funds are utilized in compliance with federal regulations and program goals.
- Attends meetings at the state level with or without director regarding Perkins related information.
- Processes requisitions and purchase orders for all purchases from federal, state, and local funding, requiring accuracy and a thorough understanding of the school and district operations, the State Grant Management System. (GMS).
- Prepares and submits federal reports for the Perkins Grant, including reimbursement requests, expenditure reports, and inventory documentation, ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and deadlines.
- Initiates and/or processes requests from staff for items such as, but not limited to, equipment service/repair needs, maintenance needs through the district and or outside vendors.
- Manages and tracks all inventory purchased through the Perkins Grant and complies with all federal guidelines in terms of disposal, replacements, and/or sales if needed.
- Obtains and researches quotes for expenditures.
- Tracks all CTE travel expenditures, monitor travel reports for accuracy and process travel documentation with Finance.
- Communicates updated financial/business policies and procedures to staff within NTC.
- Assists with development of organizational operating budget proposals, and grants for NTC.

COORDINATES WITH: Director of CTE, Career Center Coordinator, Building Principal, Assistant Principals, Building Staff, NH Department of Education
WORK YEAR: Full Year, 12 months
The NTC Office Manager is responsible for providing support to the department stakeholders, including managing all administrative tasks related to the Perkins Federal Grant, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists the CTE Director with the Perkins Grant:
2. Collaborates with Work Based Learning Coordinator managing all required paperwork for Department of Labor including following district policies and protocols.
3. Manages, reconciles, prepares all billing (AV-1 forms) for NTC and forwards to Business Administrator at district office.
4. Provides direct support to the CTE Director, Head Teachers, and NTC/CTE classroom teachers.
5. Facilitates collaboration with area schools and NTC Head Teachers in the CTE program to coordinate and manage student enrollment applications. Requires effective communication and support between schools to enhance the educational experience for all CTE students.
6. Organizes projects and events including, but not limited to, career fairs, guest speakers, community events, out of district open houses, and tours.
7. Manages the NTC Secretary to analyze and report financial information required for compliance with local funds:
8. Supporting and covering social media, advertising, marketing as needed.
9. Assumes other special activities and/or responsibilities as assigned by the Career and Technical Education Director for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit according to contract.
