Job Description: The Loan Servicer is responsible for all post loan closing activities, primarily the posting and maintenance of retail, consumer, and commercial loans. This position is responsible to ensure integrity and accuracy of loan information, including servicing, tracking, maintenance, and reporting activities. This role handles a wide variety of tasks that require mental complexity, accuracy, and timeliness as they relate to the magnitude of the tasks. Must be self-motivated with the ability to structure each day to ensure that all tasks are completed within deadlines. Assures compliance with all bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Qualified candidates will have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associates degree in a related field and/or 2 years of comparable work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated career progression showing initiative, professionalism, and success.
- Ability to meet department goals and job expectations in a rapidly growing business environment, able to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Be a team player and exhibit a positive attitude in high-stress situations, easily adapting to changes in priorities, initiatives, and direction.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and effectively under time constraints and deadlines, displaying a sense of urgency to not hinder production.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple concurrent tasks and frequent interruptions.
- Must possess comprehension, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and advanced math skills needed to calculate interest and prorations, compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Experience in the financial industry is highly preferred.
