Description of Work
- Direct patient care
- Complete physical & mental health assessments
- Develop care plans for patients, helping them be as independent as possible
- Administer and monitor treatment regimens
- Observe and report behavioral changes
- Maintain control of drugs and medication
- Help patients improve their coping abilities
- Record all care information concisely, accurately, completely, and in a timely manner
- Perform other position-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Completion of a nursing degree from an accredited institution
- Current/Clear Nurse license valid in the State of North Carolina
- Minimum 1-year recent hospital experience as a Nurse
- Direct care experience within the previous year
- Active/Clear BLS (American Heart Association)
- Successful completion of screening/application requirements (e.g., competency testing, drug screening, background check)
