National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) is Hiring an Intern - Account Management Near Lake Saint Louis, MO

NISC specializes in developing and deploying enterprise level and customer-facing software solutions for over 890 utilities and telecoms across North America. We're looking for an Account Management intern to join our team!

This position reports to the Team Lead, Account Management. The Account Management team has significant contact with existing Members/Customers. Account Managers are responsible for creating and managing relationships and maintaining a high level of interaction and communication with existing Members/Customers. The team is also responsible for the development and engagement of Member/Customer Relationship activities in assigned territory for both traditional and non-traditional markets. This internship will support the Account Management team in various functions.

 **Current applications submitted will be under consideration for Summer 2023 (May - August)**

Essential Duties:

  • Provide campaign assistance for various strategic initiatives.
  • Support resource and strategic planning efforts through data colelction and analysis, as requested.
  • Work with Account Management team to validate Member contact information.
  • Learn and use Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Service Now.
  • Commitment to NISC’s Shared Values.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred: 

  • Basic level knowledge of business-related software applications and services.
  • Basic level knowledge of the Utility and Telecom Industry.
  • Basic understanding of project management process.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external customers.
  • Basic level ability to organize and prioritize.

Education Preferred:

Junior or Senior pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
