What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - Saw Operator position at National Tube Supply?
Commercial Fluid Power, a subsidiary of the National Tube Supply Company, specializing in supplying machining services to the fluid power industry is in search of a Warehouse Saw Operator / Material Handler reporting to our North Canton, OH location. These services include boring, honing, welding and machining.
We currently have openings for the following shift:
We currently have openings for the following shift:
- 2nd shift (2:30pm-1:00am)
- Monday through Thursday
- earns a $2.00/hr shift differential
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Operate band saws
- Load / unload trucks
- Record production data
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move tubing.
- Lift and move heavy pieces of setup equipment or tubing; up to 50 pounds
- Retrieve material based on reading job travelers
Operator Requirements:
- Experience with tape measures and micrometers
- Industrial experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and communicate in English
