ABOUT THE ROLE
Transportation Maintenance / Garage employees assist with maintenance of our trucks and transport carriers that deliver our homes and components for each of our unique Cavco brands. Transport Maintenance / Garage follow specified safety and maintanence processes that maximize the efficient delivering and setting of our high-quality products for our customers
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs inspections of vehicle and carriers prior to and following each trip.
- Keeps vehicle and carrier maintained and serviced as needed, including refueling, changing oil, changing tires and checking tire pressure, etc.
- Lights/electrical on carrier is in good working order and ready for transport.
- Follows appropriate safety procedures while maintaining vehicle and carriers.
- Assist yard attendant or other duties when instructed by supervisor or team lead.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School, GED, trade school or equivalent 1-2 years of Garage experience
- Safe Driving Record
- Must be able to work independently.
- Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
