Quality Assurance Inspector - 1st Shift (7a-3:30pm) $21/hr
A Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting component parts and assemblies to assure conformance to print and proper form fit and function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform dimensional inspections on component parts and assemblies to assure conformance to the print and assure proper form, fit, and function.
- Document all aspects of the inspection process. This includes filling out forms, generating CMM reports, taking pictures, entering data electronically, and sending notifications.
- Creating and submitting non-conformance reports.
- Creating and issuing Corrective actions.
- Performing and documenting In-Process inspections.
- Monitoring and controlling test equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other related engineering requirements with an emphasis on GD&T
- Possess strong working knowledge of measurement tools, such as: micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMMs, measurement arms, and indicator
- Strong communication and organizational skills are a must
- Must have strong working knowledge of QMS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Must understand Form, Fit and Function
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a tool & die manufacturing plant
- Office – will be required to sit at desk using computer, standing, and walking for 8 or more hours each day
- Manufacturing – will be required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach in various capacities throughout the day
