Hirning Pay Range: $20.53 to $26.73 (DOQ)

Logistics Coordinators /Customer Service Representative acts as a liaison between purchasing and sales departments. Serves customers by performing all order - to - invoice functions, providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems. Assists with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancellation and other queries.

This position is located in the city limits of Rifle, Colorado at the Natural Soda warehouse.

  • The Customer Service Representative/ Logistic Coordinators will perform duties in a professional, safe, environmental and quality-minded manner to meet the needs of the plant and customer.
  • Cooperate with HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) manager to implement all regulatory requirements for plant operations.
  • Obtain and schedule freight rates and deliveries as required
  • Respond to end user inquiries
  • Perform all duties required and outlined in the Customer Service/Logistics Coordinator Training Guide
  • Prioritize work duties as required
  • Act as the company gatekeeper and advise on company information.
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling.
  • Resolve customer complaints via phone or email.
  • Inform Sales Representatives and customers of all information as required.
  • Process orders via computer, and verify accurate customer and product information.
  • Prioritize orders based on production schedule
  • The ability to learn and understand three operating systems
  • Verify submitted orders for integrity and coordinate the product purchase with the purchaser.
  • Coordinate "pre-sale" development with sales personnel to include pricing, availability and configuration.
  • Develop large account orders and provide feedback pertaining to "estimated time of arrival" of back orders, problems and other issues.
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers.
  • Handle changes in policies or renewals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Degree: College Degree is preferred, but a High School diploma, and any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

EXPERIENCE

Prior experience in Customer Service and an understanding in production and/or operations preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of:

  • Proficient understanding of systems, operations, packaging and other facilities operations.
  • Professional manner in dealing with customers
  • Record keeping, report preparation, filing methods and records management techniques.
  • General office procedures, policies and practices, as well as advanced knowledge of computer and other general office equipment.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Skill in:

  • Basic understanding of facility operations and maintenance.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Using a PC with advanced proficiency in document/file management, word-processing, database management, email usage and Internet browsers.
  • Correct English usage, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary. Communicating clearly and effectively in English, orally and in writing.
  • Organizing work, setting priorities, meeting critical deadlines, and following up assignments independently.
  • Using tact, discretion, initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
