Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Runner to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a Parts Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly by transporting essential parts and materials to various locations. You will spend the majority of the time in parts delivery and vehicle transfers, additional time will be spent doing general adminstrative duties. Responsibilities
- Transport parts and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload parts safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Assist in inventory management and organization of parts as needed.
- Input orders in the computer
- Place backorders with vendors
- Receive and invoice direct ship orders
- Work overtime as needed to maintain company business operations
- Assist Parts Manager when needed per their request
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items as needed up to 75Ibs
- 2-year work experience in Courier or parts running/parts delivery
