TITLE OF POSITION:
Writing Interventionist Teacher
School Day 9:00am - 4:30 pm Student Time 9:30am-3:45pm
LOCATION:
Wellfleet Elementary School
DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT
OF POSITION:
- Ability to plan and deliver dynamic, challenging instruction that engages and meets the needs of all learners
- Ability to collaborate well with staff and colleagues to provide a cohesive education for all students
- Effective implementation and knowledge of Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks/State Standards in all content areas
- Experience with student assessment and data analysis to individualize and drive differentiated instruction
- Experience with Project-Based Learning
- Proficient in the use of Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for ELA and Literacy, K-5
- Experience with planning specific interventions and/or enrichment to improve and/or excel student achievement
QUALIFICATIONS:
Massachusetts Certification, Elementary Education, 1-6
Highly Qualified and Experience Preferred
SALARY:
Per prevailing Teacher’s contract
