We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Manager to join a leader in the supplement manufacturing industry. The Plant Manager will oversee all manufacturing activities, ensuring operations meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Lines Management: Ensure that all equipment and processes for gummy production, including compounding and manufacturing, run efficiently and align with production plans.
- Drying Rooms Oversight: Manage the drying phase, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.
- Packaging Operations: Oversee the packaging process, ensuring finished products are properly sealed, labeled, and prepared for distribution while maintaining quality control.
- Coordinating Teams: Collaborate closely with floor managers, supervisors, and line workers to optimize workflows, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements. Work with the Operations Manager to ensure the teams work efficiently.
- Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Sustainability and Efficiency: Seek ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and integrate sustainable practices in manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supplement or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the nutraceutical or food industry
- General machine knowledge, with hands-on experience and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machinery used in gummy manufacturing
- Strong understanding of production management, quality control, and compliance regulations
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with proficient problem-solving skills
- Experience in project management and ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and building strong team relationships
Work Environment:
- Office & manufacturing setting within a manufacturing facility
- Full-time, in-office position
