Job Summary:
Prepare bid package, distribute to suppliers, analyze bids and create sourcing summary. Bid analysis to include commercial and non-commercial data (Incoterms, payment terms, lead times, availability, etc.).
Make sourcing recommendations to the Commodity Manager based on the following criteria:
- Achievement with annual savings targets
- “Total delivered cost”
- Collaboration/consensus with Operations team (Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain Management) and Engineering
- Alignment with regional and global commodity strategies
Process blanket and spot buy purchase orders, and support purchasing contract development in Syspro systems and NORMA Store.
(1) Complete weekly and monthly reports on supplier performance on behalf of multiple facilities, (2) maintain supplier contact and commodity databases and (3) enter contract pricing and volume in budget tool.
Provide support to Lithia Springs Production Plant and all Warehouses on the East Coast (GA & TX).
Work with suppliers, Operations and Accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Monitor suppliers via formal visits with pre-defined agendas; complete trip reports as required, develop strategic suppliers preferably that can support on regional level

Reporting Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Regional Purchasing Manager.
Department:

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, plus three (3 ) years related experience
Computer Skills:
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to navigate ERP environments.
Other Skills and Abilities:

- Decision analysis – both qualitative and quantitative.
- Ability to interpret prints and specifications.
- Communication skills – written and verbal, presentation (creation and delivery).
- Organizational effectiveness – personal time management, project support, structured reporting.
- Negotiation skills – prior job experience required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
