What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Clerk position at Nebraskaland Inc.?
· Maintain integrity of vendor bills of lading versus purchase orders
· Establish and manage processes and procedures to ensure accuracy on inbound product received.
· Problem solve discrepancies on purchase orders
· Research potential quantity variances as identified by accounts payable
· recommend scheduling changes on vendor inbound deliveries
· Maintain accuracy on all Pick up Area Collections
· Support compliance with all appropriate policies & procedures & safety rules
· Communicate purchase order discrepancies with the Procurement Department
· Communicate customer return discrepancies with the Sales Department
· Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with Distribution Center Associates
Work Environment:
· This is a fast paced environment.
- must be willing to work a shift from 5AM to 3PM, plus alternating Saturdays
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
· Six (6) months of experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Excellent Communications skills
- Strong Organizational Skills with a great attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to follow processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
- Strong decision-making skills
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
· One (1) year of experience
- Experience with AS400 Software a plus
- Bilingual (fluent in English & Spanish) a plus
- Strong Organizational Skills with a great attention to detail
