What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Clerk position at Nederlander Organization, Inc.?
Assist with day-to-day accounts payable functions
Review and process Manual & Void checks
Ensure proper documentation and approvals
Enter invoices into accounting system and process ACH payments
Weekly vendor invoice payments via ACH, check or wire transfer
System check stop payment and replacement
Prepare weekly payrolls
Ensure compliance with payroll laws and tax notices
Validate all payroll related changes; new hires, terminations, transit, 401k, direct deposits, status changes, withholding changes, and address changes.
Answer employee questions and inquiries about payroll
Assist with W2'S & 1099 reporting to outside partners
Assist in providing reports for quarterly filings and annual payroll audit
Assist with preparing reports for workers compensation annual audit
