We are seeking highly competitive individuals, skilled problem solvers and talented communicators to play an essential role in growing our innovative bank. You will serve as the cornerstone of the home loan process for those that come to Neighbors Bank to realize their dream of homeownership.
We are currently hiring in the following states: AZ, AR, FL, ID, IA, KS, KY, MS, MO, OK, SC, TX, UT, VA
Since we are innovating the way lending is done, we are seeking individuals that DO NOT have previous Loan Officer experience for this fully remote position.
This position pays an annual base of $60,000 in addition to uncapped performance-based bonuses, offering the opportunity to determine your own earnings potential. We estimate that top performers in this role have a total annual income potential of between $70,000-100,000, taking into account base pay, commissions, deductions, and bonuses. Of course, pay will vary and may be above or below the potential range based on various factors, such as experience and performance. As a loan officer you will learn the ins and outs of a variety of loan products and play a vital role in fulfilling Neighbors Bank’s mission of Enhancing Lives. Clients will rely on you to weigh financing options, issue pre-approval letters, and serve as the main point of contact to both them and their real estate agent through the closing/funding of their loan.
Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:
- Educate borrowers on the loan process and assist them in identifying appropriate financing options.
- Interview borrowers to obtain and/or verify information and documentation.
- Analyze borrowers’ credit, income and assets for prequalification or denial of loan applications.
- Process borrower credit information through online approval system.
- Structuring loans and issuing pre-approvals for borrowers (including interest rates and fees) by calculating income and reviewing asset statements.
- Securing proper documentation and managing the loan process through the closing of a loan.
- Informing borrowers about future loan documentation requirements and requests, including borrowers' income and asset information.
- Regular follow up with borrowers and their realtors to facilitate various stages of the loan process.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
