Construction Project Manager

Title: Construction Project Manager/Director of Projects

Location: Larkspur, CA

Compensation: $120,000 - $170,000

You are a highly motivated and results-oriented Construction Project Manager responsible for the successful execution of residential and commercial construction projects from inception to completion.

What you will be doing:

• Lead all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, and close-out.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conduct site inspections, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Manage project budgets, identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Oversee project quality control and ensure timely completion.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.
• Prepare and present project status reports to management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in construction documentation, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
