Office Manager (Contract)

You are an Office Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment. This role will include managing office supplies, supporting team members, handling logistics, and coordinating communication with vendors and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

This position pays: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour

Location: 1700 K St NW, Washington DC, 20006

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee daily office operations, including managing supplies, ordering and restocking snacks and beverages, and maintaining office equipment.
  • Handle distribution of incoming mail and deliveries, and respond to incoming calls.
  • Arrange and coordinate logistics for meetings, including room reservations, setup, catering, and guest registration.
  • Liaise with vendors for services such as water machine maintenance and plant care.
  • Organize and coordinate team events, such as monthly happy hours
  • Arrange transportation, accommodations, and dining arrangements for visitors.
  • Plan and coordinate Happy Hour and team events to enhance the work environment.
  • Facilitate approval requests for contracts, memberships, and other agreements.
  • Administer online tools and media subscriptions, including renewals and communication.
  • Provide support to HR, IT, Accounting, and the Head of Coordination as needed.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day office operations.

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in office management or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software.
  • Fluency in Korean is preferred.
