Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to oversee and manage the integration schedule, labor and expense budgets and oversee the team at Systems Integration in Pittsburgh, PA. While being innovative, creative and budget conscious to help building future NEP facilities and upgrades to existing facilities. This person will also set the direction and culture of the Systems Integration team and be responsible for all project completion and quality.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement techniques and methodology to ensure rapid and accurate completion of each and every project.
• Ability to identify, understand, and solve complex design and system flaws.
• Communicate with key stakeholders in the project updates, including sales, operations and engineering, to insure the proposed design meets the needs of the intended client(s).
• Oversee development of project timelines identifying key decision dates and completion dates.
• Ensure appropriate personnel is in place along with required materials, supplies and equipment for each project milestone timely.
• Oversee and assist with project budgets and timelines as designs are refined.
• Assist with personnel schedules and requirements, and work closely with various other departments to make recruitment decisions.
• Facilitate daily or weekly status meeting with the Integration staff to set project priorities and coordinating work assignments short and long-term.
• Work closely with Sr. Project Coordinator to present project progress & completion report to Senior Management.
• Assist in managing other areas of the Engineering Department as needed.
• Attend and coordinate client and supplier meetings and oversee the implementation and operational phase of projects.
• Oversee and assist with documentation and job recap and evaluation for engineering, design, and project coordination staff.
• Ability to manage, motivate, and encourage Integration staff within a high-paced ever-changing environment

Position Requirements

• Must be willing and able to travel as necessary
• A minimum of ten years of experience in project management for broadcast system design or similar industry.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts such as VLANs, subnets, and network loops as it relates to broadcast.
• Understanding of HVAC systems is preferred.
• Experience with leading teams and possess excellent organization and communication skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills.
