What are the responsibilities and job description for the Football Technology Representative (Freelance) position at NEP Group, Inc.?
NEP Integrated Solutions has contracted with BIG10 Football to provide technical support for game day technologies. This position requires basic IT / IP based knowledge, the ability to prioritize, think under pressure and the ability to communicate and troubleshoot issues professionally. Familiarity with Vokkero Elite Pro and Riedel radio systems is a plus. Prior experience as Audio A2 a big plus.

- When a game is scheduled for assigned venue, candidate will need to be on-site four (4) hours prior to kick and remain onsite until any open issues have been resolved and equipment is safely stored after the game
- Responsible for all Referee radio systems being fully tested / operational a minimum of three (3) hours prior to each game
- Responsible for diagnosing and resolving any issues that arise during the game
- Escalate any issues through the proper NEP and League channels
- Expected to recommend long-term solutions to issues that affect the performance of systems
- Verify software versions and updates as directed by the League
- Verify the condition of all equipment, clean or replace broken parts as necessary
- Verify the placement of all equipment as required by League standards
- Collaborate with various League game day assistants as required
- Protect equipment from damage due to weather or other hazardous conditions
- Ensure all equipment is properly disconnected, protective caps are replaced, and equipment stored as required by the Team and/or the League
- Troubleshoot any open items post-game
- Complete post-game tech report via online Google form including:
- Verify condition of all equipment
- Report on any technical issues that occurred
- Report on solution or workaround that was implemented
- Request any replacement equipment or cabling that may be necessary
