W2 Contract position for Collins Aerospace- Wilsonville OR
*** 1st shift: 6am-3:30pm M-TH, 6am-2:30pm on Fri, with every other Friday off---
TRAINING DONE ON 1st SHIFT - Onsite training – could be 1-3 weeks in duration (may not be consecutive weeks)***
Job Responsibilities:
- Plans and performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, tests, fabrications, and inspection operations on various products in standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work.
- performs a variety of moderately complex electronic and mechanical assembly tasks following Industry and Collins Aerospace standards.
- May be asked to fill in for more senior members of the work area as needed. May work a variety of assembly stations.
- Following wiring schematics, written work instructions and verbal instructions assembles electronic subassemblies, top assemblies, and complete assemblies.
- May be asked to assist other production employees on production activities.
- Required to use hand tools and power tools to assemble and rework a variety of parts/assemblies and perform required assembly/rework operations to meet quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Regular and reliable attendance is required as well as flexibility to support production schedule requiring working overtime hours and alternate shift hours.
- Responsible for various SAP transactions to record operations..
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
