Nester Hosiery LLC is North America’s leading performance sock manufacturer, working with many of the world’s foremost performance brands. The company is seeking a highly experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to join our exciting and growing company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 8 years of experience in quality and compliance management.
- Lean Six Sigma certified. Proficient with Lean/Six Sigma tools.
- Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment. Team oriented.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Disciplined calendar management: an ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to facilitate meetings with vendors and suppliers.
- Effective RCA and problem solving with proper corrective action steps.
- Work effectively with all production areas, all levels of management and logistical areas.
Responsibilities
- Improve and maintain the Nester QMS system.
- Oversight of specifications for all finished goods.
- Manage outside auditing of supply-chain.
- Monitor and update vendor scorecard.
- Assess all customer returns.
- Manage outbound shipping compliance.
- Occasional travel expected.
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly activities.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of metrics to Leadership team.
- Onsite position full time.
- Manage third party auditing activities when needed.
- Working directly with customers as needed via e-mail, on-site or customer location.
