Maintenance Planner

Position Description:

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Planner to join our team at our operations in northern Nevada. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our mining equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules for mining equipment, processing plants, and facilities

- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to optimize equipment availability and minimize downtime

- Create detailed job plans, including task lists, required resources, and time estimates

- Manage the work order system, prioritizing maintenance tasks based on criticality and operational needs

- Analyze equipment performance data and maintenance history to identify trends and recommend improvements

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities

- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of parts and materials for scheduled maintenance

- Conduct regular meetings with maintenance supervisors and operations teams to review and adjust plans as needed

- Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program to reduce unexpected breakdowns

- Assist in developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance effectiveness

Qualifications:

• - Maintenance Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in mining or heavy industry

- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP, Maximo, or similar

- Strong understanding of maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and asset management principles

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus

- Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,600.00 - $110,600.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed
