Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am-4:00pm NO Weekends - NO Holidays and Paid Vacations throughout the calendar year!
The New England Center for Children is a top special education school in Massachusetts. Students between the ages of 3 and 22 receive year-round services for 30 hours per week. The curriculum ranges from basic prerequisite skills for learning, including attention, imitation and self-care, to academic skills, such as reading, math and science. As students reach the age of 14, emphasis is placed on vocational skills throughout the school and in the community.
Autism teachers provide direct care and ABA instruction to students in a classroom setting. They assist with educational program design, Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) development, and have regular communication with parents and guardians. They are also trained to deescalate challenging behaviors and to always ensure the well-being of our students. Our goal is to improve our students' overall quality of life by working with them to reduce the frequency of problematic behaviors and provide them with the skills needed to promote independence.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a degree program (preferred)
- Experience working with children and young adults with autism is highly desired.
- Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
- Willingness to help students who engage in challenging behaviors
- Must be able to communicate and provide verbal instruction clearly with our students
- CPR training completion through NECC within 6 months of employment
- Successful completion of NECC training - Physical and Verbal De-escalation training (CALM) and Medication Administration training
