Systems Integration Engineer
New Gig Solutions is partnering with a leading innovator in the renewable energy sector. Our client is revolutionizing distributed energy resources (DER) through cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to serve as a key technical member of a cross-functional team dedicated to creating industry-leading energy management products. This role will spearhead integration efforts between our client's ecosystem and their growing network of global partners and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive understanding of residential energy systems including inverters, energy storage systems, and EV chargers
- Operate and conduct testing in specialized test facilities
- Collaborate with internal hardware and software engineering teams while serving as technical point of contact for external partners
- Draft and oversee integration designs and specifications
- Manage field testing, system qualification, and certification processes
- Lead product pilot programs with hands-on involvement
- Coordinate between cross-functional teams and external partners
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years hands-on experience with photovoltaic inverters, energy storage, or similar hardware products
- Demonstrated project/product management experience
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and electrician principles
- Practical experience with:
- Field operations of PV and energy storage systems
- Electrical wiring and product assembly
- Communication protocols
- System integration and testing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities
