The Therapy Assistant position aids with adaptive equipment, programming assistance, and other supports to maximize the skills for individuals in the ICF program on the New Hope campus, working with individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. This position will be provided detailed training specific to each area upon hire.
Other duties include:
- Provide training for new and current employees.
- Conduct various observations under the direction of a licensed therapist and therapy coordinator.
- Equipment inspections under the direction of the licensed therapist and therapy coordinator.
Must be detail orientated
- Organized
- Flexible
- Must have at least 1 year of working with persons having physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
- Must be 16 years of age
- high school diploma
