Open since the fall of 2001, Newberry Assisted Living has been able to provide quality care for many of the area’s seniors. Our limited residency allows us to provide personal assistance and a home-like environment for our clients.
Newberry Assisted Living has an opportunity for full-time employment in our resident care department.
Key job duties of a Resident Care Aide include providing assistance to residents including assisting with activities of daily living, ensuring all resident needs are met and documenting resident care. As a Resident Care Aide, you will be an essential part of our team, providing compassionate care and support to residents. Your core skills in caregiving and personal care, combined with premium skills in first aid, assisted living, and experience working with individuals with diverse needs, will enable you to deliver high-quality care tailored to each resident's unique requirements. Qualifications
- Experience in long term care, home & community care, and personal care home settings
- Proficiency in providing personal care and assistance to residents
- First aid certification and experience in assisting with ADLs
- Ability to provide Alzheimer's care, memory care, and senior care
- Knowledge of resident's rights and experience in monitoring vital signs
