The salary range offered for this role is USD $108,000- 141,750. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.

In this role, the individual will:
- Advise on business improvement methodologies and tools.
- Coordinate with external guides and consultants to bring fresh perspectives on business improvement.
- Advise on the development of business cases for improvement projects.
- Facilitate resource allocation and prioritization to keep initiatives on track.
- Maintain ongoing support to teams responsible for implementing business improvement initiatives.
- Identify and solve issues that may arise during the execution of initiatives.
- Formulate a support network that initiative leads can access for advice and assistance.
- Coordinate regular check-ins with initiative teams to monitor progress and providesupport
- Thorough understanding of the tools, processes, systems, training and delivery framework utilized within the Business Improvement Full Potential program.
- Site operational experience is preferred and the understanding of how improvement value is built into business plans and then tracked.
- Qualification in Engineering and Business Administration would be beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with stakeholders and deliver results through an impact and influence framework.
- The applicant must have thorough knowledge of business improvement and stakeholder collaboration within mining or other industry such as manufacturing or oil and gas.
- Must be proficient in the practical application of business improvement methodologies and project management best practices.
- Must be capable to deliver training packages, along with improvement prioritization and tracking.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI along with MS Office applications like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- The preferred location for this position is our corporate headquarters in Denver, CO but qualified candidates in proximity to any of our operations will be considred.
