Your impact

Efficiently handle People HR services outside the system, administer onboarding, offboarding, , manage benefits and Q/A, oversee service awards, and other HR programs, process HR Invoices and implement employment law posters.

As part of our team you will

  • Execute on People HR services that operate outside the established system, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
  • Provide employees and managers with responsive and supportive guidance on information requests, self-service transactions, workflows, and HR portals.
  • Exercise independent judgment to process system requests, identify issues, and implement effective solutions. Practice continuous improvement for processes.
  • Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, troubleshooting any issues that arise to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Perform various HR Service Center tasks related to HR and benefits administration, including Matching Gifts, Wellbeing Programs, and Employment Verification.
  • Oversee and administer employee benefits, providing expert Q&A, and resolving any issues that arise to ensure employee satisfaction.
  • Support HR invoicing administration while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Execute the service awards and Spot Awards programs, recognizing and rewarding employee contributions and achievements.
  • Maintain and update online HR content across multiple platforms, ensuring accuracy and relevance for the North America audience.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail by delivering accurate work within established timeframes and Service Level Agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws by implementing and maintaining updated employment law posters across the organization.
  • Maintain process documentation and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Handle highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Prerequisites for your success in this role

  • A degree in business administration, human resources or related field.
  • SuccessFactors system and general functionality.
  • General HR operations and practices.
  • General knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws preferred.
  • General knowledge of Canadian Federal Labour Standards preferred.
  • Foundational in addressing customer complaints and escalations.
  • Advanced PC skills using MS office software including Outlook, Excel and Word.

Your work environment

  • This role will be located at our Denver office but we are flexible for the role to be located in Canada or the United States.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $88,000 - 115,500. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
