What are the responsibilities and job description for the SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST position at NEWPORT HOSPITAL AND HEALTH SERVICES?
Primary Scheduled Hours : Days, 80 hours per pay period
Job Summary : Compiles, analyzes, and reviews data to create reports on the financial performance of the facility. Conducts financial analysis to assess the facility's short- and long-term range goals. Uses accepted financial and accounting principles, theories and concepts. Responsible for budget development, capital requests, volume projections, and revenue and expense analysis. Understands reimbursement methodologies and cost structure.
Education Background and Experience
Minimum Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and / or equivalent relevant experience.
Required Experience :
5 Years of Relevant Experience. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, and computerized accounting systems.
Preferred Qualifications :
Recent experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
