Patient Access Representative – Physical Therapy

Register patients for various procedures and appointments and feel proud to go above and beyond to help others. In this role, you'll obtain demographic details and insurance information including pre-certifications and authorizations, and ensure proper scheduling. You'll be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.

This position is Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.

Preferred Criteria

• Some college course work completed
• Familiarity with health insurance requirements and clinical coding

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of clerical experience
• Computer skills
• Exceptional customer service skills

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
