What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Panel Builder position at NexGen Controls & Systems?
Overview
As a control panel builder, your responsibilities include the assembly of electrical components into a control panel for industrial machines. You will be responsible for the assembly of complex wiring of the control panel by reading a schematic wire drawing. You will primarily use hand tools such as tape measure, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and crimpers. Other duties include preparing the control panel for shipping, keeping the work area clean, etc.
Duties
- Assemble control panels according to schematics and engineering drawings
- Wire electrical components accurately and efficiently
Job Requirements
- Previous panel building experience a plus
- Skilled in using hand tools for assembly tasks
- Experience with power tools for panel fabrication
- Able to stand, stoop and /or kneel for extended periods of time
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be teachable and retain information
- Able to accept constructive criticism
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
