About The Role: Billing Specialist Overview
Sensi is an award-winning, AI-based care quality management platform for home care agencies and elder care communities. Sensi is currently seeking an experienced full-time Billing Specialist to be a part of the founding team for our US operations based in Austin, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to combine a passion for finance with a mission-based company looking to change the way we, as a society, take care of every older adult who needs it.As the Billing Specialist, you will oversee the company's billing efforts and provide support to the go-to-market team. You will be responsible for invoicing clients, ensuring all outstanding invoices are paid in full and on time, and answering any related billing inquiries with best-in-class customer support. You will be part of the finance department but will collaborate with the other departments and make a significant impact on the company’s growth and automation of its billings. The Billing Specialist is an incredibly valuable role that creates and maintains relationships with our clients and is central to operations as a whole.
Core Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist:
- Create and send invoices and account updates to clients
- Maintain an accurate record of client accounts and outstanding balances
- Receive, sort, and track incoming payments
- Issue billing receipts for received payments
- Address and solve client questions and issues related to billing
- Securely handle client data and payment information
- Perform periodic reporting of overall billing and collection progress
- Identify trends or issues and initiate corrective action to improve revenue cycle management and overall billing performance
- Own ad hoc operational projects as needed by the Finance Department
Requirements for the Billing Specialist:
- 4 years experience working in a billing role
- Experience working with Saas product
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially pertaining to customer service
- Incredible attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Team player with a great attitude, self-starter, and adaptable in a startup environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Stripe
- Experience working with Israel based company is a plus
