We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.
Duties
- Greet and seat customers promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our café standards.
- Monitor tables for customer satisfaction, responding promptly to requests or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with basic math skills.
- Assist in training new staff members on café procedures and service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or café industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices in food handling.
- A passion for culinary arts and providing outstanding customer service is highly valued.
