Position Specific Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager to lead product high-impact product initiatives. In this role, you will set the product direction and strategy, oversee comprehensive roadmaps for product portfolios, and drive strategic innovation. The Principal Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping NextEra Analytics' strategic product vision, influencing organizational direction, and delivering products that define the future of renewable energy.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for providing product ownership in planning and overseeing the successful execution of various small to medium sized projects throughout the project life cycle. Individuals will provide project guidance, prioritization and coordination with various internal teams such as Application Development, Applied Math and Science to ensure timely and effective project execution within the Agile development framework. Employees in this role commonly provide status updates and presentations to varying levels of management and collaborate with other business units to ensure projects are effective, completed on time and on budget.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops models and performs quantitative studies to support many aspects the business
• Develops or improves simple to moderately complex mathematical models with oversight from Sicence and Applied Math
• Leads sprint planning and directs the implementation of critical and complex projects involving and impacting multiple business unit stakeholders
• Drives and participates in the evaluation and implementation of continuous improvement efforts
• Develops and executes product roadmaps and strategies consistent with business unit vision
• Provides frequent status updates and presentations, both formal and informal to varying levels of management
• Travels to remote office locations for detailed requirements gathering and major project briefings (expected 10-25% of the time)
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
