Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects, specializing in structural concrete restoration. This role involves managing the full project life cycle, from cost estimation and planning to execution and close-out, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management
- Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to meet project goals.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Cost Estimation
- Review blueprints, plans, and specifications to estimate costs for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare accurate forecasts for project budgeting and billing.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Develop pre-construction documents (e.g., submittals, schedules, meeting agendas).
- Maintain records of contracts, change orders, and project reports.
- Prepare close-out documents, including warranties and punch lists.
- Team Collaboration
- Facilitate communication between estimators, superintendents, and foremen.
- Provide weekly job summaries and progress updates for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Experience:
- 5 years in commercial construction, with a focus on structural concrete restoration.
- Proven expertise in managing project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
- Experience estimating or managing parking structure restoration projects.
- Exposure to sales or marketing within the construction industry.
Travel Requirements
