Job Summary:
Niehaus Lumber is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy E-Commerce Manager to oversee and expand our online presence. This individual will manage our website, integrate online marketplaces, and enhance the digital shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will be skilled in data entry, website management, and customer engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Website & Product Management
- Add product images, descriptions, and attributes to the website.
- Take high-quality photos of products and edit them as needed.
- Ensure product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search visibility.
- Build out new areas on the website, including:
- Subscription items for repeat purchases.
- Instructional videos & guides to assist customers.
E-Commerce & Marketplace Integration
- Connect and integrate eBay with our website to expand online sales.
- Manage promotions, special offers, and featured products on the website.
Customer & POS System Management
- Set up new customers in the POS system for seamless transactions.
- Oversee customer rewards programs and manage reward point allocations.
Technical & Administrative Tasks
- Work closely with the website platform and POS system to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT support when necessary.
- Monitor online orders and assist with fulfillment when needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in e-commerce management, website maintenance, or digital marketing.
- Knowledge of POS systems, online marketplace integration, and product data entry.
- Strong organizational and data management skills.
- Basic photography and photo editing skills for product images.
- Ability to create engaging online content, including product descriptions and promotions.
- Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with eBay seller tools and integrations is preferred.
