The temp Biomed Electronics Technician 2 is responsible for effectively and efficiently completing configuration as needed in their respective departments of Patient Monitoring and Neurology.
Essential Functions and Main Duties
- Assume responsibility for the timely and accurate repair of defective or damaged products for some Nihon Kohden product lines
- Configuration of loaner or replacement equipment
- Document all investigation results and repair requirements
- Stay technically current with all Nihon Kohden products lines
- Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management
- Perform weekly cycle counts and inventory audits
- Assists in development of device specific training modules
- Keep management informed of area activities and any problems that may arise
- Attend and participate in meetings as required
- Works effectively in a team environment. Respects diversity and resolves differences respectfully
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need
Qualifications
Education / Certification / Experience Required
- BMET graduate or 2 years of experience with medical device repair and assembly
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Office Products and SAP
- Level and compensation depend on location, xperience, education and skills

- Able to troubleshoot and repair products quickly
- Good communications skills
- Well organized and attentive to detail
- Able to use all related technical applications
- Ability to use various hand tools
- Able to instruct others on procedures as needed
- Able to edit and write new procedures as needed
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, and to receive and understand verbal and written instructions in English
- Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Compensation
The anticipated range for this position is $20.00/hr to $24.00/hr. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, experience and location.

Working Conditions
Schedule: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., MondayFriday, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Companys discretion.
Physical: Generally, may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, and color vision. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.
