WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking a Senior IT Hardware Asset Analyst to join our Global ITAM Data & Tools team. We are a hard-working, fun, and collaborative team. This analyst will be asked to identify, record, maintain, monitor, audit, and detail Information Technology assets. The analyst position will perform regular audits of company owned infrastructure, hardware, and telephony assets. This role will participate in cross platform projects relating to services associated to infrastructure assets and configuration management processes and maintain and support endpoint and device management. This requires knowledge of networking and infrastructure, Datacenters, IDF/MDF, and lifecycle management.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Performs data collection and analysis of all global technology - hardware throughout the enterprise to identify, analyze and recommend changes to hardware purchases, inventories, reporting including decommissioning and asset recovery to mitigated associated risks.
- Assist with policies and operating processes throughout the entire lifecycle including requisitions, provisioning, logistics, deployment receipt, identification, categorizations, recording, reporting, and documentation of hardware telephony, mobile, and IoT assets.
- Participates in the development for configuring, crafting, maintaining and supporting the asset management system (CMDB/CSDM) for service and the life-cycle; ensures appropriate updates are made to the asset management system. Provide management with recommendations for updates to the development of asset standards that include the identification, classification, and control of assets including asset recovery and decommissioning.
- Basic understanding of information technology, related user documentation and technical verbiage.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
The analyst will work both independently and in conjunction with other analysts. Our team partners with the carrier order management team, AEs, Sales Managers & Directors, GMs, NOC front-line employees & managers, customer decision-makers, administrative and technical personnel, third-party vendors, and NOC team.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor/Master degree in Technology, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4-6 years of ITAM experience and 2 – 4 years of Infrastructure & Networking experience
- Understanding of core IT network infrastructure and retail back of house infrastructures
- Experience with ServiceNow, CMDB, & HAM Pro
- Knowledge of business applications such as Tanium, SCCM, Snow, Casper, SolarWinds, ExtraHop, and CrowdStrike
- Big data experience
- Experience with spreadsheet modeling, financial and decision analysis, working with large datasets and basic probability and statistics.
- Experience crafting and writing policy SOPs
- ITIL/ITAM or related certification a plus
